Slide Scanning Services
Do you have a lot of 35mm slides from vacations and family gatherings past? Have you lost track of your projector? Now you can have all your slides scanned to a data DVD, and you can enjoy them again on your computer! No need to hunt down the projector or put up a screen the next time you want to take a trip down memory lane.
We use a high-end scanner specifically designed for scanning 35mm slides. Our scanner uses a proprietary LED light source that protects your slides from high temperature while providing a true color light source. All slides are transferred digitally. They are not projected onto a screen. All color and brightness correction is done with the slide scanner software and is very effective.
You can make of choice of having us do color and brightness correction on your slide. This will only be done if it looks like it will improve the slide. You will receive both the original slide and the corrected slide on your DVD. You will only be charged for 2 slide images: the color-corrected image and the original scan image. Samples of before and after images can be found on our slide sample page. Note that this page may take several minutes to download if you are on a dial-up connection.
In addition to the data DVD containing your image you have the option of having a photo montage put to music for an additional $15 per DVD. You can use this DVD to display your slides on a standard DVD player.
We can scan your slides into a variety of popular graphics formats, such as jpeg and tiff. You can pick the format that best suits your requirements.
