We provide transfers slides to DVD
or CD. The slides can be transfered as a DVD slideshow with
music for play back on any DVD, or as data DVDs or CDs that
may be viewed using your own slideshow software.
All slides are digitally scanned. We do not project them
Slides can be scanned into two different formats:
TIFF: This is a lossless format which provides
the best reproduction of your slide. It also creates
a very
large file. Only recommended if you are planning to make
large prints from the slides
JPEG: This format compresses the slide file,
which results in some loss. This loss is not appreciable
when
displaying the file or making small prints. Recommended
for most uses as it produces a significantly smaller
file that can be loaded more quickly
The slides can be placed on a DVD or CD as files
The slides can be placed on a DVD in video format with
music and titles for viewing on TV
All slides will be digitally enhanced when scanned. This
allows for the removal of most dirt and scratches
Please provide your slides in the order you would like
them to be viewed in. Slides in slide trays will be removed
from the tray for scanning, and may become disorganized
